Draft — pending a licensed attorney

Terms of use

Version 2026-10-18-draft · 18 October 2026 · Operator: [COUNSEL TO ADOPT] (operator legal name not set)

Documentation support only — not legal advice, not a compliance certification. These clauses are a working draft so the product can show a real acceptance gate. They are not in force for a paid launch until a licensed attorney adopts them. Do not take a real payment before that. Sentences marked [COUNSEL TO ADOPT] are the blanks counsel must fill.

1. What you are buying

ApprovedStackAI is organizational and documentation support. The workspace stores tools you report, runs if/then checks written in everyday language, fills a policy template, and exports a dated pack. The founding audit is a manual intake and delivery service aimed at the same documents. A founding client that starts the annual register locks that yearly price for 12 months. Neither one is legal advice, a security audit, or a compliance certification. No tool is guaranteed safe. Documentation support only — not legal advice, not a compliance certification.

2. No promise of a complete list

The register, flags, policy, and evidence pack describe tools and answers the customer reports or selects. They are a dated snapshot. They are not a finding that every AI tool in the customer's business has been found. The service does not scan devices, browsers, or SaaS accounts.

3. Customer responsibility

The customer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information they provide, for deciding what to share outside the company, and for having qualified counsel review drafts before relying on them. The customer will not submit live passwords or system credentials. The product asks whether credentials were entered into an AI tool. It does not ask for the secrets themselves.

4. Delivery and refund

Founding audit target and refund rule: [COUNSEL TO ADOPT] 5 business days after the intake call, then a refund of the audit fee may be requested (placeholder — counsel must adopt). How a refund is requested, and how Stripe handles it, is not a live promise until counsel adopts this clause and a payment method is connected. Workspace access is a documentation tool and is separate from that delivery target. Nothing on the site is a guarantee of same-day completion. The full draft is on the refund page.

5. Limitation of liability

Draft cap: [COUNSEL TO ADOPT] Fees paid in the prior 12 months (placeholder — counsel must adopt a cap). The operator is not liable for decisions the customer or a third party makes based on a self-reported snapshot, or for tools the customer did not report. This cap has no effect until a licensed attorney adopts it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits. Those laws control where they apply.

6. Intellectual property

The customer owns the information they submit and the copies of drafts they export. The operator owns the software, templates, rule text, and page design. The customer receives a non-exclusive license to use generated drafts inside their organization, including sharing a reviewed pack with their own clients, insurers, or advisors. Templates are not legal advice and are not an assignment of the operator's software.

7. Confidentiality

The operator will use customer register data to provide the service, will not sell it, and will not use it to train a public AI model. People and subprocessors with access are limited to those needed to host and support the service. See the data handling page for storage, subprocessors, retention, and the breach-notice window.

8. Acceptance

Creating a workspace or continuing toward payment requires an affirmative checkbox for version 2026-10-18-draft, dated 18 October 2026. The acceptance record stores the version, the date, the email, and whether it happened at signup or checkout. A link to Stripe is not shown until that record exists, and it stays hidden until counsel adopts the terms.

9. Governing law

Governing law: [COUNSEL TO ADOPT] Not selected — pending a licensed attorney. Venue is unselected until counsel names it. Operator: [COUNSEL TO ADOPT] (operator legal name not set).

Documentation support only — not legal advice, not a compliance certification.
